About us
Lindores House is located in north east Fife on the bank of Lindores Loch surrounded by its estate.
The estate is in the region of 2000 acres with a mixture of arable, hill farm, marshland and woodland, so the perfect habitat for wild game such as woodcock, snipe and duck and our released partridge and pheasant. Due to the topography of the ground we have some very challenging pheasant and partridge drives testing the best of most people's ability. We have 15 to 20 drives which provide a mixture of open field to snap shooting in woodland and some fantastic drives where you stand with a grandstand view of the highlands and lowlands.

ACCOMODATION
Lindores House stands in a stunning location on a former monastic site and dates to around 1820. It was built for Admiral Maitland, who took the surrender of Napoleon Bonaparte on the Bellerophon, though the fabric of a much earlier building can be seen in the cellar of the house.
